Washington Demon sophomore Greyson Hartman followed a terrific spring track season in Iowa with an impressive showing this summer at the New Balance High School National Championship meet at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. Hartman competed in the shot put, throwing 18.61 meters to place eighth. He finished higher than any other sophomore at the meet in the event. Peter Donini of New Jersey was the event winner with a throw of 20.26m.
Hartman finished fourth in Class 3A at the 2025 State meet in Des Moines in shot put and was third in discus. He is the Demon school record holder for throws.
