A long holiday weekend could see an increase in Washington residents’ recycling needs. 

As a reminder to residents, your recycled items should be loose in the recycling container. You should not put recycled items in plastic bags in the container. Plastic bags and plastic wrap are not recyclable. This may cause your recycling not to be picked up

The trash and recycling schedule for Washington residents will not change over the holiday weekend.
