
Officials responded to a two-vehicle wreck in Washington on Saturday that left two with injuries.
Around 3 p.m., authorities received a report of a collision at the intersection of Lexington Boulevard and Highway 1 and 92 in Washington. Mary Smith of Brighton and Connie Zimmerman of Keswick were the drivers. Two people were taken by Washington County Ambulance to the Washington County Hospital. At least one vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
Zimmerman was cited for failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way.
Responding to the scene were the Washington Police Department, Washington County Sheriff’s personnel, Washington Fire Department, and Washington EMS.
