Both Keota Eagle teams would suffer defeat on the diamond last night against Iowa Valley. Keota softball lost 9-1, allowing three runs each in the second and third innings after already trailing 2-1 one inning in. The loss drops the Eagles to 8-7 in the South Iowa Cedar League and 9-7 overall.

Keota baseball was already down 4-0 when Iowa Valley exploded for 10 runs in the fourth and would go on to end the game early as 15-3 winners. The Eagles fall to 5-10 in conference play and 6-10 in total. Both Keota teams play again this evening against Colfax-Mingo.
