The KCII Big Red Radio celebrated Trekfest 40 in Riverside on the latest stop of KCII’s Summer Town Tour Saturday morning.

From 8 to 11:30 a.m., the Big Red Radio joined the parade of Riverside residents and Trekkies along Highway 22, and celebrated the 40th annual town festival and fan celebration.

Other events throughout the weekend included a scavenger hunt, a youth baseball tournament, kid zone, beer tent, pet show, live music, autograph signings, stargazing, a fun run, a writers’ workshop, a breakfast fundraiser, a costume contest, a kids’ tractor pull, a fan panel, a kids’ foam party, and fireworks.

The next stops on the KCII Big Red Radio Summer Town Tour are Fourth of July Celebrations in Wellman and Wayland on Friday, and Crawfordsville Fun Days on Saturday. The one to count on to take you where the action is is AM and FM KCII.
