The Iowa Department of Transportation has expanded its digital identification program. Android users can now add their Iowa state ID or driver’s license to their Google Wallets.

The department announced the change on Wednesday, noting it is an optional addition, not a replacement, to physical identification.

The digital IDs are valid at over 200 TSA stations, including both the Eastern Iowa and Des Moines airports, and various businesses across the state. REAL ID status will transfer to digital IDs as well.

The same process came to Apple phones in October of last year.
