
A man was arrested for child endangerment and operating while intoxicated charges following a traffic stop in rural Washington over the weekend. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, at 5:23 p.m. on Saturday, a deputy conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of G36 and Nutmeg Avenue, north of Washington. The driver was 43-year old Martin James Frank of Peosta.
Frank was charged with operating while intoxicated second offense, speeding, child endangerment, and possession of a dangerous weapon while intoxicated. Further charges are pending lab results. The Department of Human Services was contacted.
Frank was taken to the Washington County Jail and bonded out.
