The Henry County Sheriff’s Office announced the release of a new mobile app available  on both Android and Apple devices.

The app provides a variety of resources for residents. One of those features include a place where residents can submit tips to law enforcement. In addition, on the app people can search the jail’s inmate roster, view the area people on the sex offender registry, see job opportunities, see sales by the department, view department events and view community resources such as opioid and addiction support.

The app can also be used to receive severe weather alerts from the National Weather Service when storms impact Henry County.

The app can be found under “Henry County Sheriff Iowa” in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
