Washington County will begin a crack-sealing project on Monday near the western edge of the county.
The work zone will be Birch Avenue (also known as county road G67) from Highway 78 north to the Keokuk-Washington County Line Road.
Weather permitting, the work is expected to take one week. Closures are not expected, but drivers are asked to use additional caution in the area. Residents in the area should move property away from the work zone due to the dust and debris production it will create.
