The plans for a new maintenance building were approved by the Washington County Supervisors on Tuesday. 

The 40’ by 60’ building will be located across from the Washington County Courthouse on the north side. The building will be constructed near where the former jail and dispatch center was located. It will feature two 12’ by 10’ insulated overhead doors, and one restroom. The building will be heated and cooled. 

The budget for the project was $150,000 and the estimate from Eastern Iowa Building out of Fairfax came in at $143,180. The project completion date was not provided.
