Four area fire departments responded to a house fire in Brighton on Wednesday.

Fire departments from Brighton, Washington, Richland, and Wayland all responded to the scene at 1696 335th Street. The fire was reported at 11:57 a.m. The Brighton Fire Department announced that the fire had been extinguished at 4:26 p.m. Firefighters from the four departments worked in 75-degree weather to extinguish the flames.

Brighton QRS and the American Red Cross were also called to the scene.

According to a Google Maps business listing, in addition to being a home, the address is also the site of D&B Auto and Towing, an auto repair business.
