The Henry County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man on sexual abuse of a minor and indecent exposure charges following a month-long investigation.

Nineteen-year old Kyle Wyatt of Palo was arrested on June 17th. He was charged with one count of indecent exposure, a serious misdemeanor, and one count of sex abuse in the third degree – child victim related by blood, a class C felony.

According to the sheriff’s department, authorites received a call reporting a possible sexual assault on May 10. An investigation was opened and culminated in the arrest of Wyatt. He was taken to the Henry County Jail.

A preliminary hearing will be held on June 27 at the Henry County Courthouse.
