The Washington and Mid-Prairie baseball teams are hosting a food drive in conjunction with Federation Bank ahead of their game against each other on July 2.

The “Strike Out Hunger” food drive began on Monday, June 16 and will run until Tuesday, July 1, giving fans two weeks to participate and donate items. Each team has a designated Federation Bank location to drop off non-perishable food items, and the team that has more donations given at their location will be declared the victor ahead of the baseball game.

For Mid-Prairie, donations can be made at the Wellman branch. For Washington, donations can be made at the Washington branch.
