The Washington Demon baseball team suffered a 5-0 loss Friday night at West Branch. Washington kept the game a scoreless tie until the fourth inning, and they were only trailing by a run until West Branch exploded for four runs in the sixth.

Sophomore Boden Brown cracked a double and had two of the four hits on the night for Demons, who fall to 2-9 with the defeat. Washington is back in action tonight and hosting a doubleheader against Southeast Conference rival Keokuk.
