The Wellman communication tower construction is completed after nearly two years.  

Supervisor Jack Seward Jr. shared at their weekly board of supervisors meeting that the tower is up and the communication system redundancy is complete once again. Seward noted that some of the equipment on the tower still has some issues to work out, but the tower is functioning.  

The replacement of the Wellman communication tower was needed following damage to the equipment that occurred when tornadoes struck Washington County on March 31st of 2023.
