
A subject was located in Ottumwa with a Washington County warrant for burglary charges on Wednesday.
Wapello County officials arrested 26-year-old Colton Pategas of Washington on a charge of violation of probation on the original charge of three counts of burglary in the third degree.
According to court documents, in June of last year, the Washington Police Department arrested Pategas on five counts of third degree burglary, class D felonies, and two counts of attempted burglary, aggravated misdemeanors. This was in relation to several break-ins that took place in Washington businesses.
Pategas pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary in the third degree, and the other charges were dismissed.
A detainer was placed with the Wapello County Jail for Pategas, and he was later transported to the Washington County Jail where he remains on a $15,000 bond.
