Jedadiah Holden

Authorities have arrested a man related to two guns that were found on Washington High School property. According to the Washington Police Department, authorities arrested 21-year old Jedadiah West Reed Holden on two counts of carrying weapons on school grounds. 

He was taken to the Washington County Jail and bond was set at $10,000.

The police were notified of suspicious activity on May 23rd at both the Washington High School and MIddle School. Prior to officers arriving, Holden had left the school areas. He was contacted by officers and trespassed from the school property. 

A week later, two handguns were found under a tree near the baseball field located adjacent to the high school. School surveillance video footage was reviewed. During that process, Holden was recognized on May 22nd placing items under a tree where the handguns were later located. 

The police department notes they appreciate the cooperation of school personnel and the community during the investigation process.
