A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house will be held for the Evanovich Main Entrance and Emergency Department at the Washington County Hospital on Tuesday.  

The new entrance and emergency department was funded by a memorial in Joe and Jane Evanovich’s name. Joe Evanovich passed away in 2023 and a memorial was established for the Washington County Hospital Foundation.

Construction on the renovation began last fall and concluded earlier this year. 

Located at 400 East Polk Street in Washington, the event will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and include hors d’oeuvres, a guided tour of the new space, and the ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m by the Washington Chamber of Commerce.
