
The Henry County Sheriff’s Department made three arrests for felony sex offender registration violations recently.
Wayne Stocker of Burlington, Jason Bonnell of Fairfield and Bryan Stewart of New London were each charged with sex offender registration violation second offense, a Class D felony. Each is accused of not reporting relevant information to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office within the required time frame set by the Sex Offender Registry.
Stocker pled guilty on June 2. According to records, Stocker was previously convicted of sexual abuse in the third degree with a teenage victim.
Bonnell’s arraignment is scheduled for June 16. He has a non-Iowa conviction of aggravated criminal sexual abuse with a victim under 13-years old.
Stewart has a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 13. Stewart is also charged with operating a vehicle without a license and operating a vehicle without proper registration. He has convictions of indecent exposure, sexual abuse in the third degree, and telephone dissemination of obscene materials.
