Step into a world of sweet adventure at the Washington Public Library as Candy Land comes to life during Washington’s Ridiculous Days celebration.

Youth Services Librarian Jenisa Harris shares more about the Life-Size Candy Land experience, “I change the whole upstairs into a life sized candy land board. So you are going through the board, it’s a lot of fun. You will find the castle and then get a little treat. It’s fun for all ages, so adults, if you’re intrigued, bring some friends and go through, there is no shame.”

The board game people can walk through will be open to the public this Thursday from 8 a.m. to  6:30 p.m, Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This event is free and open to all ages, and just one activity as part of the 78th Annual Ridiculous Days celebration in downtown Washington.
