The KCII Big Red Radio Summer Town Tour will be covering Washington’s Ridiculous Days celebration this week.

Beginning on Thursday, Ridiculous Days offers three days worth of deals, bargains and sidewalk sales from Washington retailers in the first weekend of June. You can find all of the ridiculous sales on the Washington Chamber Ridiculous Days Sidewalk Sales Facebook page. 

The Kiddie Tractor Pull Contest will open registration at 5 p.m. and the contest begins at 5:30 on the northwest corner of the square. This event is sponsored by the Washington Keokuk County Corn and Soybean Growers.

Other events for the first day of Ridiculous Days include the Washington Farmers Market and Thursday Night Live Performance by Studio E beginning at 5 p.m. The Washington Municipal Band will take the stage at 7:45 p.m.
