
Dogwood Avenue east of Rubio will soon be closed for construction. The Washington County Engineer’s Office announced that Dogwood Avenue will be closed to thru traffic from 295th Street north to the existing pavement beginning June 2nd. The construction is nearly one mile long.
Work will include re-grading the roadway and providing a new at-grade crossing over the railroad tracks. The contractor anticipates the completion of the project before October 31st, weather permitting. The project contract was awarded to Cornerstone Excavating of Washington for $888,108.25.
