U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley has received numerous concerns from his Iowa constituents. Grassley shared the main concerns he has been hearing with KCII News, “Prescription drug prices are too high. When are we going to have a five-year farm bill? You and I talked about tariffs, I get that from Iowans an awful lot. We get some concern about the war in Ukraine. We have some concern about the President’s appointments, and also about this tax bill.”
Grassley continues to hold discussions in Congress about Iowans’ concerns. The Senator kicked off his 45th consecutive year of meeting face-to-face with Iowans in every county in March. The annual 99 county meetings have been scheduled using the same formula, including open town hall meetings, as well as meetings with Iowans at factories, hospitals, schools, service clubs and small businesses. Grassley was in Washington County to visit with members of the Kalona Rotary Club on April 22nd.
