A total of $4,306,524 was awarded by the Washington County Riverboat Foundation at their meeting on Wednesday. 

Fifteen organizations were awarded funds. The meeting was held at the Kalona Historical Society Building. The largest grant awarded was to the Washington Athletic Booster Club in the amount of $3,500,000 for the Washington Demon Fieldhouse Project. The funds will be dispersed over four years. 

The Washington County Riverboat Foundation is the non-profit license holder for the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort, which provides all of its funding.
