The stage is set for the Iowa High School Track and Field Championships in Des Moines this week, with nearly 100 qualified area events set to compete.
The meet will take place at Drake Stadium in Des Moines this Thursday through Saturday. The KCII area will be well-represented on the blue oval with athletes from Washington, Mid-Prairie, Hillcrest Academy, Highland, Lone Tree, Columbus Community, Winfield-Mt. Union, WACO, Keota, and Sigourney.
