A Wayland man was arrested on Thursday for a second degree theft warrant out of Poweshiek County. 

The Washington Police Department reported a vehicle stop and arrested 50-year-old Curtis Wagler of Wayland. Wagler was charged with second degree theft and a $5000 bond was set. Second degree theft is a class D felony. He was transported to the Washington County Jail to await extradition to Poweshiek County. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
