The Highland Huskies girls golf team has a strangle-hold on the Southeast Iowa Superconference. Highland secured their second straight SEISC team title Monday in Burlington in dominant fashion. The Huskies winning score of 370 was 31 shots better than second place Wapello, and 10 shots better than their winning score a year ago. Highland had the top Dogs individually with Emersyn Schultz winning the Superconference title with a round of 87 and Adisyn Prottsman going medalist runner-up at 88. Other cards for the Huskies included Joslyn Prottsman 97 for sixth, Adeline Krotz 98 for seventh, Autumn Guseman 116 and Cassidy Duster 124. Schultz and Adisyn Prottsman received First-Team All-Conference honors, Joslyn Prottsman was a Second-teamer, and Krotz Third-team.

Columbus was third of 15 teams with a 403 team score. Hailey Wellington led Columbus finishing third with a 93. Other cards for the ‘Cats included Aracely Garza 99, Kinlee Brown 100, Lily Coil 111, Jocelyn Hernandez 117, and Madeleine Howell 121. All-Conference awards went to Wellington on Second-team, and Garza and Brown on Third-team.

Winfield-Mt. Union was sixth with a 437, led by Ashlyn Bender in fifth with a 96. Other scores for the Lady Wolves included Ella Kann seventh at 98, Kellee Milks 114, and Brynn Pogmore 129. All-Conference honorees included Bender Second-team and Kann Third-team.

Hillcrest Academy was 11th overall at 471. The Ravens were led by Claire Withrow’s 104. Other scores included Ava Miller and Brynna O’Rourke 116, Izzie Frederick 135 and Natalie Meganathan 139. Withrow was named Honorable Mention SEISC.

WACO was 12th with a 472. The Warriors were led by Morgan Meyer’s 90. Other Warrior cards included Madison Miller 120, Taryn Elston 125 and Gracie Cardenas 137. Meyer was a First-team All-Conference choice.

Lone Tree did not post a team score but had Rylie Viers shoot 142.
