The Keota School District will be looking for a new superintendent after the school board recently accepted a ‘resignation/settlement’ at a board meeting. At their meeting on May 8th, the board unanimously approved the resignation/settlement of Superintendent Lisa Brenneman. The resignation was effective the same day as the school board meeting, May 8th.

Brenneman served as both the superintendent and high school principal.

According to officials with the school board, the district is exploring options as to how to fill the vacancy moving forward.

Details of the resignation/settlement were not made public. KCII News has submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for further information and will provide an update as it becomes official.
