
The Washington County Fair recently received a grant that will enhance agriculture exploration at this summer’s fair
The $2,500 grant is provided by Farm Credit Services of America Working Here Fund for Agriculture Education. The grant will fund the Agri-Bot Adventure Experience at the 2025 Washington County Fair. According to Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, “Agri-Bot Adventure: From Fields to Futuristic Thrills is described as stepping into a one-of-a-kind experience with Agri-Bot, the transforming Camaro that merges cutting-edge technology with the heart of American agriculture. Begin your journey along a winding path packed with interactive displays featuring fascinating agricultural facts from across the United States. It highlights the role of farming in sustaining our future. This attraction combines education, entertainment, and the thrill of innovation.”
The Agri-Bot Adventure will be at the Washington County Fair July 14-18. The Washington County Fair Association is one of 97 organizations to receive a Working Here Fund grant in the first quarter of 2025. Farm Credit Services of America awarded more than $350,000 during the latest grant cycle that ended in March.
