Welcome To Riverside

The Riverside City Council is scheduled to meet Monday night, with one topic of discussion being plans for an RV park that a developer wants to bring to the city.

The park, which would be located just southeast of the U.S. Highway 218 exit onto state Highway 22, was passed onto the council by the Planning and Zoning committee at a meeting last Tuesday. It was approved by the Planning and Zoning committee contingent upon a variance/special exception to be granted later by the Board of Adjustment with a recommendation to add a restriction on the number of days that RV owners could stay in the park.

The land, which is currently an unused lot, was sold by the city in 2019.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the Riverside City Council Chambers.
