Three cars were towed from Highway 22 near Kalona on Thursday night. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 8:45 p.m. dispatch received a call of a large sharp item in the road that is causing tires to blow out about two miles east of Kalona.

Authorities responded. Three vehicles were towed from the scene. The three drivers involved were Ashley Steele of Norway, Benjamin Butler of Kalona, and Kenteth Blossom of Wellman.
