The Golden Hawk boys come into the match with a 1-8-1 overall record following a 10-0 loss to No. 10 Dyersville-Beckman last time out. This year, Mid-Prairie has been outscored 44-8 in total with 42 shots on goal, 21 corner kicks, four assists and a 73% team save percentage. Individually, Kale Miller leads with three goals, Peyton Fox, Will Snider, Ty Huber and Adrian Sanchez Reyes each have one assist and in goal, Jacob Flynn has 49 saves. Maquoketa is 7-1-2 this season. The Cardinals are ranked No. 10 in Class 2A in the latest poll from the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association. The Cardinals were an 11-2 winner over Bellevue on Monday. This year, Maquoketa has outscored their opponents 44-8, including 93 shots on goal, 39 corner kicks, 27 assists and an 84% team save percentage. Individually, Luc Schumacher has a state-leading 28 goals, Noah Ehlinger’s 10 assists, and keeper Brayden DeForest with 47 saves all lead the team. These teams have split their two meetings with the Cardinals getting a 3-2 win a season ago.
The Mid-Prairie girls are 3-6-2 this year after a 5-0 loss at No. 13 Dyersville-Beckman Monday. This year, the Hawks have been outscored 27-20 with 84 shots on goal, 41 corner kicks, nine assists and an 80% team save percentage. Individually, Meadow Flynn leads with six goals, Lydia Beachy and Brooklyn Schneider each have two assists and Niva Helmuth has 87 saves. Maquoketa is 6-0 this season after a 3-1 win over Bellevue Monday. The Cardinals have outscored their opponents 27-3 this year, including 63 shots on goal, 23 corner kicks, 11 assists and an 83% team save percentage. Individually, Maelyn Kluever has a team-leading 20 goals. She and Aubree Dostal each have three assists and Aubrey Kroymann has 15 saves.
