The Hillcrest Academy and Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union boys soccer teams take the pitch tonight for a key Southeast Iowa Superconference contest. The Ravens are 5-2-1 after wins this week over Wapello and Sigourney-Keota by a combined 21-2 score. This season, Hillcrest is outscoring their opponents 33-9 in total with 82 shots on goal, 50 corner kicks, 30 assists and a 71% team save percentage. Individually, Mason Helmuth leads with a dozen goals, Mason Bender has a half dozen assists and Kyle Neuschwander has 24 saves in goal.

Columbus is 3-6 the year, trying to snap a four match losing streak. They were beaten 9-1 by Burlington Notre Dame Monday. This year the Wildcats have been outscored 42-13 in total. Columbus is led by seven goals from Sachiel Villagrana, two assists for Diego Villagrana and 45 saves for Leo Corona. These teams have split their last six matches, with the Ravens scoring a 4-0 victory last season. Action starts tonight at 5p.m. At the Muscatine Soccer Complex.
