The Washington Demon boys’ golf team got another solid outing from Drew Conrad at the Oskaloosa Invitational on Tuesday. The junior shot a three-over-par 75 to lead Washington, finishing sixth overall.

Junior Carson Brown fired an 80 for the Demons, who finished seventh in the team standings, while Cole Vetter finished with 85 and fellow senior Conner Leyden was only one stroke behind him. Sophomores Kaleb Orr and Ethan Peebler added rounds of 90 and 95, respectively.

The Sigourney Savages also took part in the action Tuesday at Edmundson Golf Course and were eighth as a team. Junior Solon Yates shot a seven-over 79 to lead the team and make it inside the top 15.

Freshman Jordan Tremmel was only two strokes back of Yates, while Sigourney seniors Isaac Bruns and Cain Weber each carded an 86. Sophomore Ike Molyneux added an 87 for the Savages and junior Josh Wyatt had a 92.
