A salary increase for school staff is on the agenda for a special Washington School Board meeting to be held tomorrow.

The Washington School Board will be meeting on Wednesday to discuss and potentially vote on a staff wage increase of 25 cents an hour, or a 3.31% total package increase. The agreement is between the district and the Washington CSD/Education Support Professional Association (WESPA) and Iowa State Education Association (ISEA). If agreed upon, the increase will be in effect from July 2025 to June 2027.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the central office.
