The Mid-Prairie Community School District School Board’s first meeting of April is set for tonight.

The meeting will include a public hearing on a proposed new wrestling facility for the district’s athletic department.

The public hearing is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. The facility would be constructed between the multipurpose facility and the press box, and would span 12,960 feet across two levels with enough space for three mats, a weight room, locker rooms, several restrooms, storage area and concession stands.

The rest of the meeting will include discussion of the district’s budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year, including setting public hearings to amend and finalize the budget at the board’s next meeting.

The meeting is set to begin at 6:15 p.m.in the Mid-Prairie Community School District Board Room.
