The price of regular unleaded gas has fallen by six cents in Iowa this week, dropping the average price to $3.07 in the state, according to AAA, while the national average remains steady at $3.24. 

Diesel prices also fell in Iowa, with a four-cent drop bringing prices down to $3.38 per gallon, 25 cents lower than the national average of $3.63.

This comes as the price of crude oil plummets, with both West Texas Intermediate and Brent crude oil prices falling by around $14 this week.

Wholesale ethanol prices are holding at $2.16.
