The Mid-Prairie boys are 0-3 on the season after losses to Highland, Williamsburg and West Liberty by a combined 19-0 score. They fell to the Comets 10-0 on Monday. This year, the Hawks have six shots on goal, five corner kicks, 24 saves and a 73% team save percentage. Columbus is 1-2 this year, with a win over Washington and losses to Mediapolis and Mount Pleasant. The Panthers beat the Wildcats 9-0 on Monday. Columbus has been outscored 19-4 on the season in total. Juan Inarritu-Cruz, Bryan Tlatenchi, Diego Villagrana and Sachiel Villagrana all hae goals for the Wildcats, Diego Villagrana has an assist and in goal, Leo Corona has 16 saves. Mid-Prairie has won five straight in the series including a 3-1 victory last season.
The Golden Hawk girls are 1-2-1 this season after their 6-0 win at Central Lee Tuesday, led by a pair of goals each from Lydia Beachy and Meadow Flynn. The Hawks have been outscored this year 12-7. They are led by Beachy’s three goals, Kassadi Greiner and Flynn each have an assist and Niva Helmuth leads in goal with an 84% save percentage.
Columbus is 0-3 this year, dropping matches to Mount Pleasant, Mediapolis and Washington by a combined 14-1 score. The Panthers beat the Wildcats Monday 10-0. The Wildcats have six shots on goal, four corner kicks and a 55% team save percentage. Individually, Frannie Sosa has the Wildcat goal, Iris Garza the assist and Sarai Martinez leads with 10 saves.
