
The Washington Demon and Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls track teams travel to Williamsburg tonight for the Raider Co-Ed Relays. Both teams were last in action together Thursday at the Panther Relays in Mount Pleasant. The Washington girls got championships from Iris Dahl in the 1500, Leighton Messenger in the 400 hurdles, the 4×8 and 4×4 teams. Greyson Hartman won shot put for the Demon boys.
Mid-Prairie got girls titles in the 200 and long jump from Jeorgia Evans, Rachel Hostetler in the 800 and 3000 and with the distance medley team. Jayse Yoder was the 800 winner for the Golden Hawk boys and Emmett Swartzentruber won the mile.
Joining the Demons and Hawks tonight are Belle Plaine, Benton, Cedar Rapids Washington, Center Point-Urbana, Clear Creek Amana, Grinnell, Mount Pleasant, Mount Vernon, Cedar Rapids Prairie, Iowa City Regina, Solon, Vinton-Shellsburg and the home Raiders. Action starts tonight at 4p.m. At Bob Murphy Stadium.
