Three area schools are represented today at the Iowa High School Speech Association’s Individual All State Festival. The Demons, Golden Hawks, and Warriors are represented. 

The two Washington High School students selected to perform are Adamaria Mendoza and Luna Morris in improvisational acting. 

Mid-Prairie High School has eight students involved. The eight students performing are Caroline Schrader in acting, Grace Puttman in poetry, Jillian Clark in storytelling, Logan McClellan in solo musical theatre, Niah Leaton in acting, Rita Du in literary program, Ryann Dolan in acting, and Tabitha Fisher in after dinner speaking. In addition, the two named to All-State who are non-performing are Schrader in solo musical theatre and Leaton in improvisational acting.

WACO High School’s Jaklyn Cook is performing in the spontaneous speaking category. 

The festival is being held at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.
