One of the top players in Southeast Iowa Super Conference girls’ basketball hit a milestone earlier this season as Lone Tree junior Finley Jacque scored her 1,000th career point for the Lions.
In a 74-35 victory over Winfield-Mount Union, Jacque crossed the millennium mark for her career and became the eighth player in Lone Tree history to reach 1,000 points.
Jacque finished this season with a team-high average of over 16 points per game for the Lions and helped Lone Tree set a new single-season school record with 20 wins. She finishes her junior season with 1,027 total points in her career and sits just over 500 points away from catching Kylie Ronan for a new program record.
