Quilting, crocheting, weaving, and more have been featured throughout the month with the Washington Public Library’s annual Fiber Arts February celebration. The public is invited to visit the library as the month of programs and displays finishes up. Librarian Leann Kunz shares, “A huge month, but lots of fun, and lots of things to come see, and lots of things to come do.”

One featured exhibit was a partnership with PAWS & More Animal Shelter. Local fiber artists created a collection of animals including puppies, birds, cats, and more. Area children were then invited to view the creations and register to adopt one.

The final day for Fiber Arts February is this Friday and visitors of the library can see exhibits of various fiber creations.
