The City of Riverside wants to accomplish many capital projects in 2025. During their recent meeting, the Riverside City Council discussed a few goals they would like to accomplish in 2025. They have three capital projects that they are looking at, and City Administrator Cole Smith explains “Our current project that we have at our wastewater plant. We have a UV Distinfection system replacement that is ongoing. We are expecting delivery of that equipment in March and then we will have that installed. We currently have a Scada (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system. It’s the brain, or controller for both the wastewater plant. We have that being replaced. The community center has a big conversation as well”.
Riverside will have a work session on Monday, February 10th at 6:00 p.m. to discuss some of those topics. It will be held at the City Council Chambers 60 North Greene St.
