The Washington Demons suffered a pair of road basketball losses last night at Mediapolis. The Washington girls turned a one-point advantage in the first quarter into a 19-16 lead at halftime, but after Mediapolis got back within a point going into the final period, the Bulldogs closed the game on an 18-6 run to defeat the Demons 48-37.

The Washington boys also took a loss at Mepo yesterday, dropping their record early in the season to 1-3. The Demon girls fall to 1-4 as both teams prepare for their next games Friday against Fairfield.
