Southeast Iowa has been a hot spot for political visits leading up to election day. On Tuesday, October 22nd, an event in support of Representative Heather Hora was held and in attendance was Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, and Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks, and State Senator Dawn Driscoll. More recently, Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig hosted Get Out The Vote rallies in Sigourney at Barn Wired, and hosted a roundtable between Iowa farmers that will be held in Washington at a local rural residence.
