Join the Washington Public Library for a showing of Slavery by Another Name, a PBS film based on Douglas A. Blackmon’s Pulitzer Prize-winning book.  The film illuminates how, in the years following the Civil War, insidious new forms of forced labor emerged in the American South, persisting until the onset of World War I. The event begins at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, February 13th,  and will be held in the Nicola Stouffer Meeting room. This showing is co-sponsored by Washington for Justice.
