There are multiple activities at the Washington Public Library on Thursday. For the noon concert series, Barbara Hodge will play her MIDI electronic horn (the instrument of over 300 “voices,” including the bagpipes and drums) accompanied by her sister, Virgina Tschantz, on the piano. There is a Gallery Talk with Washington Art Historian Carol Ray. You can join Ray as she takes a tour of the library’s artwork, giving information about the pieces and the artists that created them. This event begins at 11 AM. This event is one of many that the Public Library offers throughout the year, and is an interactive event; the participants are welcome to ask questions throughout.
