The postseason basketball awards continue to trickle in and the South Iowa Cedar League recently named three Keota girls to the all conference list.

Taylor Kindred was named a second team selection for her contributions this winter. No Eagle has ever had more blocks than Kindred’s 49 that put her second in the conference. She was the top defensive rebounder in the league with 148 including hauling in 11.2 boards a game. The senior led the team in scoring with nine points a night, shot 41% from the floor, and created 22 steals. Nicole Clarahan and Macie McDonald were recognized as honorable mention. Clarahan brought in 4.5 rebounds a contest, led the team with 38 steals, and dished out 17 assists. McDonald averaged 6.9 points, paced the team with 46 assists, and managed 20 steals.

Keota finished the campaign 6-15 and ninth in the SICL with a 6-10 league record.
