KCII is kicking off the 19th annual Caring Christmas Food Drive with an inaugural on-air event today.

The Day of Giving Radiothon is live on KCII from 10 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m., encouraging residents to call in or click on the “Big Red Button” at kciiradio.com to give a monetary donation to support area food pantries this holiday season. Callers will not be put live on air, as KCII will be featuring interviews with local pantry organizers as well as businesses and organizations that sponsor the drive. You can also donate toward the drive by spotting one of our QR code table toppers at participating businesses or drop off food and other needed items at the Big Red Radio throughout the drive.
