
An Iowa City man was arrested for violating his probation in Washington County.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Saturday that they had a suspect in custody wanted by Washington County. Thirty-seven year-old Eric Ray Parker is wanted for violating his probation on original charges of operating while intoxicated third or subsequent offense, a class D felony, and driving while barred, an aggravated misdemeanor. Bond is set at $7,000 cash only and a detainer was placed with Johnson County. Parker was convicted of these charges on May 25th for a February 3rd incident. He was previously charged by Washington County with felony domestic abuse assault and criminal mischief in 2014, which were both dismissed by court.
